Leather Hard describes, “Hard to bend yet soft enough to be carved”. When I think of the paradigms in place at larger institutions, I particularly view this as “leather hard”. This sculptural research journal explores thoughts of inequities in the access to arts, education, our visual culture, and our cultural narrative.
