This piece serves as a creation of intention. I am speaking on my own self-esteem surrounding education, with concerns on equity, generational struggles, and current challenges of safety within the school system. A dream that I hold so much light and hope for also has its own darkness and flaws. The embroidered image of me "graduating" kindergarten motivates me to fight for the spaces I enter and continue pursuing this dream.
